The Band Google Calendar is linked to the main page of the band website (www.mcnaryhsband.org). Recently some students and parents have been receiving an endless CAPTCHA request from Google when trying to access the calendar. If this is happening to you, please follow the directions below to adjust the settings in your browser to turn off cross-site tracking in your browser, which will eliminate this error. This error seems to primarily happen with Safari, so using another browser is also a solution.
1. First, check to see if the calendar works for you by clicking here.
2. If you get a Google error and CAPTCHA, you need to turn off a cross-site tracking setting in your browser. You are most likely on a phone and using Safari, so here are some specific directions:
3. Click on "Settings" on your phone (I'm using an iPhone, so I don't know how similar this is to Android).
4. In the search bar at the top of the screen search for the word "cross"
5. You should see something called Prevent Cross Site Tracking - click this.
6. This will take you to a page where the top line is a toggle switch for Preventing Cross-Site Tracking. Turn this off and you should now be able to access any embedded Google Calendar without issue.
