October 14 Itinerary - MSBOA Marching Band Festival - John Glenn High School

4:30      Practice on Career Center Field (in uniform!)
5:40      Load big equipment on trailer: drumline, sousas, podium and ladders
6:00     Depart Career Center (LPS via School Bus)
6:15       Arrive at John Glenn High School
6:45      Official Warm Up Time
7:15       PERFORMANCE!!
7:30      Watch Dexter and Saline
8:10       Buses/trailer departs for Churchill 

• Make sure you eat before the 4:30 practice - you won't have time to eat again until after the performance. 
• All students must ride the bus to MSBOA, but may ride home with a parent or friend.
• Bus transportation will be provided both ways.
• The bus home will depart immediately after the Saline show, so students will have the opportunity to watch Dexter and Saline.
• After our show, students with small instruments should go directly into the stands after our exit.  Large instruments should be put away prior to moving into the stands. 
• Wind instruments smaller than a Sousaphone will go on the bus, we will not have a large box truck for this event. 
• Drumline and sousas load your own instrument on the trailer.  After the show we will drive the trailer back to Churchill but we will not unload it until the next practice- so you don’t need to unload after the event.  
• Spectators:  There is a $6 gate fee
